The Lead Data Engineer is responsible for orchestrating, deploying, maintaining and scaling cloud OR on-premise infrastructure targeting big data and platform data management (Relational and NoSQL, distributed and converged) with emphasis on reliability, automation and performance. This role will focus on leading the development of solutions and helping transform the company's platforms deliver data-driven, meaningful insights and value to the company.

Qualifications:
--- Experience: 10 years of experience leading database design and ETL development.
--- Hands-on experience with Ab Initio ETL development in Hadoop and AWS ecosystem, relational database layout, development, data modeling.
--- Experience in leading data engineering and cross functional teams to implement scalable and fine-tuned ETL/ELT solutions (batch and streaming) for optimal performance.
--- Experience developing and updating ETL/ELT scripts.
--- Hands on experience with developing applications for batch data loads and data streaming using technologies using Cloudera/Hadoop and/or AWS technologies in Healthcare industry.

In Lieu of Education:
In lieu of a Master's degree, an additional 6 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.

Licenses/Certifications:
--- AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty (nice to have)
--- Cloudera Certified Developer for Apache Hadoop (CCDH) (nice to have)
--- OCP Java SE 6 Programmer Certification (nice to have)
