an Angular Developer that will lead a team to design and build
applications that meet our Department of Defense, Federal, and
commercial customers' requirements regarding security assessments
of various types. Candidate will work in a hybrid capacity in our
Kingstowne Alexandria, VA office (3 days in office weekly is
required).What You Will Do
- The team lead will work closely with the Government, product
owners, testers, and other developers to develop and deploy
software applications related to security assessments and
inspections.
- Implement functional enhancements to the CounterMeasures risk
assessment product.
- Write unit tests of completed source code.
- Assist with Angular architecture, component, and service
design.
- Work with test engineers to assure prepared test procedures are
valid for software requirements and implementation.
- Support maintenance of development and testing
environments.
- Elaborate on requirements, use case specifications, design
overviews, design details and coding approaches for new software
features.What We Are Looking For: Minimum Qualifications
- 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in
related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with Masters
in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years
relevant progressive experience.
- Previous experience leading teams
- Proficiency in developing software code for an Angular
application, and experience working with APIs to drive a great user
experience.
- Experience designing APIs with Java Spring Boot
- Experience with AWS
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to:
- Create and explain a design for implementing a new
feature.
- Quickly research and learn new technologies as needed.
- Work in a collaborative environment with other engineers,
testers, and subject-matter experts.
- Proficiently document work completed, issues, or other items
necessary for the team's awareness.
- Possess analytical and problem-solving skills, including a
thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs
and translate them into the software applications.Preferred: Bonus
