We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician for a 70-day locum tenens assignment at a multi-specialty clinic in Maryland. Starting on 05/19/2025, this opportunity offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8am to 4pm. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a wide range of family medicine cases, including acute illnesses, chronic disease management, and preventive care. Responsibilities include performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans. The provider may be required to work at 2-3 different locations to fill schedule gaps, with exact locations to be discussed during the interview process. This role demands strong clinical skills, flexibility, and proficiency with eClinicalWorks EHR system.

Responsibilities and Duties: --- Provide comprehensive family medicine services--- Manage acute conditions such as cold, cough, flu, UTIs, and STIs--- Oversee chronic disease management, including diabetes and hypertension--- Perform routine physical examinations--- Order and interpret diagnostic tests--- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans--- Utilize eClinicalWorks electronic health record system--- Adapt to working at multiple clinic locations as needed--- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care--- Maintain accurate and timely medical records--- Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures--- Provide patient education on preventive care and disease management--- Stay updated on the latest family medicine practices and guidelines
